Some narcissists are capable of glaring arrogance. Others act in ways that seem fragile, as if they’ve been victimized. Sometimes they swing between confidence and insecurity.
We examine the theory that narcissistic arrogance (“look at me”) and fragility (“woe is me”) both reflect a need for attention and control; heroes and victims simply occupy center stage in different ways.
